FOOTBALL: KC on the hunt for three points as Manning Cup continues

Kingston College, KC, will be hoping for an immediate rebound following defeat against Greater Portmore on Saturday when the 2013 ISSA/LIME urban area Manning Cup football competition continues today.

KC, who have only played two matches, will host Spanish Town at North Street in one of two Group ‘F’ games.

The other game features Penwood against Greater Portmore.

There are six other games scheduled for the day.

Defending champions St George’s College, who are undefeated in four games, will play away to Vauxhall over in Group D.

That group also features Oberlin hosting Camperdown and Charlie Smith against Donald Quarrie.

The unbeaten Wolmer’s Boys will host St Catherine over in Group ‘C’. Also in the group, Clan Carthy will entertain Denham Town, while Papine will play Kingston Technical.

All matches are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m..

Meanwhile, the rural-area daCosta Cup resumes today with two Zone 'L' games which have been brought forward.

Those matches are Fair Prospect playing Port Antonio and Titchfield tackling Happy Grove.

Both matches will also start at 3:30 p.m..
