CRICKET: West Indies 'A' squad tour of India continues today

The West Indies 'A' team tour of India moves into its final phase today with the start of the four-day schedule.

The first game in the three-match four-day series is scheduled to start at 11:00 p.m. Jamaica time.

Three of the five Jamaicans, who toured with the West Indies 'A' team, have been retained in the squad for the four-day matches.

The Jamaicans retained in the squad are left-arm spinner Nikita Miller, fast bowler Sheldown Cotterell and Chadwick Walton.

All-rounder Andre Russell and Nkrumah Bonner were selected for the three One-Day matches and one Twenty20.

West Indies ‘A’ won the One-Day series 2-1 after losing the first match, while India bounced back to win the lone Twenty20 by 93 runs on Saturday in Bangalore.

Kirk Edwards has taken over the captaincy for the four-day matches.

Kieran Powell led the West Indies ‘A’ in the 50-over series and the one-off Twenty20 match.
