19-year-old charged with the murder of MoBay hospitality worker Dean Moriah

Nineteen-year-old Brandon Case, who is charged with the murder of hospitality worker, Dean Moriah was remanded when he appeared in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court today.




Case, who was known to Moriah, is also answering to charges of arson and larceny of a motor vehicle.



He's to return to court next Tuesday.



The 19-year-old, who was identified in a Facebook photograph sitting in Moriah's kitchen, was picked up in his hometown in Oracabessa, St Mary, on September 19.



He was found with Moriah's Toyota Camry and wallet and was wearing a pair of Moriah's shoes.



In August, Moriah was stabbed several times in the upper body and fingers.



His Bogue Village home was set ablaze by his attacker.



Moriah reportedly named his killer before he died.
