FOOTBALL: St George’s battle Charlie Smith in top-of-the-table Manning Cup clash today

The 2013 ISSA/LIME schoolboy football season gets into high gear today with 43 games across the country.



The urban area Manning Cup football competition features eight return games across three group, while there will be 35 games across the 15 zones in the rural area daCosta Cup.



The Manning Cup schedule will feature a Group ‘D’ top-of-the-table clash between defending champions St George’s College who will visit Charlie Smith.



The two teams battled to a 2-2 draw in the opening game of the season and another competitive contest looms today.



The defending daCosta Cup champions, Glenmuir High will also be in action today.



They will play away to Garvey Maceo over in Zone M.



Both teams battled to a goalless draw in their first outing.

All matches are scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.
