Counterfeit money worth J$1.5m seized in St Andrew

Two men are now in custody following the seizure of $1.5 million worth of counterfeit Jamaican dollar bills.



The discovery was made during an operation in St Andrew last night leading into this morning.



The police say counterfeit US dollar bills were also discovered.



They say a machine believed to have been used to print the notes was also seized.



A machine believed to have been used to manufacture the currency has also been seized.



Police investigations continue.
