Published:Saturday | October 12, 2013 | 7:42 AM

The final set of first round matches in the 2013 ISSA/LIME Manning Cup and daCosta Cup football competition will take place today.

The urban-area Manning Cup features 14 games across five groups.

Among the teams in action are last year’s beaten finalists Hydel and Kingston College.

Both teams have already booked their spots in the second round and as a result the focus will be on topping their respective groups.

Hydel will host fourth place Jonathan Grant; while Kingston College will play Spanish Town in a Group ‘F’ top-of-the-table match at Prison Oval in Spanish Town.

The rural-area daCosta Cup features 34 games across the 15 zones.

Sixteen inter-zone places have already been decided and the remaining 14 will be known today.

All the matches, excepting the St Jago, Cumberland Manning Cup game at Prison Oval, will start at 3:30 p.m.
