The appeal of dancehall entertainer David 'Mavado' Brooks has been rescheduled.

Mavado’s appeal against conviction and sentence on assault and malicious destruction of property charges was set to be heard in the Court of Appeal yesterday but was pushed back to tomorrow.

Brooks was found guilty of the offences last March in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court.

He was charged in connection with an incident on July 22, 2011, in which he and members of his entourage allegedly attacked Henry Cunningham and his son, Oshane and damaged their car along the Belmont main road in St James.
