Gas prices up $2.85 tomorrow

There is to be a major jump in the prices of gasolene this week.



The State-owned oil refinery Petrojam has announced a $2.85 increase effective tomorrow.



A litre of E10-87 gasolene will be sold for $114.36, while E10-90 will be sold for $116.01.



This week’s increase in gasolene prices breaks weeks of reductions at the pumps.



The prices of all other petroleum products have also been increased.



A litre of automotive diesel oil will go up by $2.61 and will be sell for $121.35.



The prices of kerosene will move up by go $2.95 and will be sold for $118.17 per litre.



Propane cooking gas will be increased by $2.73 and will be sold for $50.42 per litre.



A litre of butane will go up by $3.28 to sell for $57.48.



Retailers will add their mark-ups to the announced prices.
