Man accused of stabbing Chinese national surrenders to police

The man suspected of robbing and stabbing a Chinese national in St James on Tuesday is now in police custody.



The Constabulary Communication Network reports that the man turned himself in to the Freeport Police Station last evening.



His identity is being withheld pending further investigations.



It is reported that the Chinese national was travelling in a motor vehicle when he was stabbed in the neck by a man who escaped with $1 million.



Investigators say the money has not been recovered.
