CRICKET: Jamaica earn semi-final date with Cuba in Women's U-20 Championships

Host nation Jamaica will tackle Cuba in the semi-finals of the Caribbean Football Union Women’s Under-20 Finals.



Jamaica earned the semi-final date with Cuba after beating the Dominican Republic two goals to one in the final round of preliminary round games yesterday.



The game was played at the Anthony Spaulding Complex.



As a result of the victory, Jamaica finished atop Group ‘B’ with maximum nine points and will contest the second semi-final.



The Dominican Republic, who finished second in the group, will play Group ‘A’ winners Trinidad and Tobago in the first semi-final.



The semi-final matches will take place tomorrow at the Anthony Spaulding Complex.



The two finalists will qualify for the CONCACAF Championships and join hosts Cayman Islands as Caribbean representatives.
