A crucial meeting involving investigators probing the abduction of two St Andrew men is expected to take place this morning.

Twenty-seven-year-old businessman, Curtis Martin, and 25-year-old Mario Daley, a graduate of the University of Technology, were abducted from their Kirkland Heights home at gunpoint about 8:30 p.m. last week Monday.

At the weekend, The Gleaner-Power 106 News Centre learned that the police have requested the assistance of the Jamaica Defence Force in their investigations after a major development in the case.

An investigator said the police are pursuing four suspects, including a woman, who they believe can assist them.

Late last week, a police source informed that the abduction may have been ordered.

It is understood that the businessman’s involvement in a relationship may be the reason behind the abduction.

The police have not confirmed whether it was a business or personal relationship.

Daley graduated from UTech last year, and was an employee at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel while Martin is the manager of CJM Metals in St Andrew.

The police are asking anyone with information on the men’s whereabouts to contact the Red Hills Police at 945-8270, the Constant Spring Police at 924-1425 or the nearest police station.
