FOOTBALL: Eight D'Cup quarter-finalists to be determined today

Defending champions Glenmuir High will enter this afternoon’s final set of ISSA/LIME daCosta Cup matches knowing that dropping points against Vere Technical at Jamalco Sports Club could be costly.



The match will be one of two played at the venue with Garvery Maceo going up against Kemps Hill in the other.



In other matches, Green Pond will play Green Island in the first game of a Jarrett Park double-header with Muschett playing Ruseas in the other.



Christiana will contest Lennon in the first game of a double-header at Kirkvine with Manchester tackling Spalding in the second.



Happy Grove will play Brimmervale in the first match of a double-header at Carder Park with Port Antonio going up against Bog Walk in the feature.



Godfrey Stewart and St James will face-off in the first game at Frome Sports Complex with STETHS and BB Coke set to battle in the second.



Elsewhere, Marcus Garvey will battle Holmwood at Drax Hall, St Mary Tech play Cedric Titus at Highgate Community Centre, Paul Bogle and Frome will square-off at York Oval, Clarendon College will face Munro at Juici Beef Complex, while William Knibb and Grange Hill will do battle at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium.



The competition’s eight quarter-finalists are expected to be decided on the day.
