Shaw, Mair tender resignations

Audley Shaw and Gregory Mair who supported him have tendered their resignations following Shaw's defeat to JLP leader, Andrew Holness yesterday.

In a letter to Holness, Shaw said he was tendering his resignation as Shadow Minister of Finance, Planning, Growth and Economic Development, in order to give Holness a free hand to select a team in which he has confidence going forward.

Mair has told Holness he is resigning for the same reasons as Shaw now that the party leader has received an unquestionable mandate from the delegates of the JLP.
