Two persons are now in custody after a plot to kill a man was intercepted by the police.

The Spaldings police yesterday arrested and charged Angella Butler and Marvin Morris for solicitation to commit murder.

The police say information received is that between the period of September 1 and November 6 of this year, both accused allegedly sought the help of a man and paid him to kill a member of the organisation with which Butler works.

However, the Police were alerted and an investigation launched, which resulted in the arrest of the two.

The police seized the phones of Butler and Morris, a laptop, CPU and 18 SIM cards from Butler’s home.

The two were remanded in custody today and are to reappear in court on Friday.
