VOLLEYBALL: National association needs $2m

The Jamaica Volleyball Association (JaVA) is seeking over $2 million to send the national Under-17 men’s team to the Caribbean Championships in Trinidad and Tobago from December 4-9.



New President of JaVA, Steve Brown confirmed that the local association is facing financial difficulties to go to the Caribbean Championships.



Although facing financial difficulties JaVA is still preparing a team for the Caribbean Championships.



JaVa has entered the Under-17 team in the three-day UWI Invitational Volleyball Classics, scheduled to start tomorrow.
