25-y-o woman charged with abduction of a baby, grandmother's murder

The police have charged a 25-year-old woman in connection with the abduction of a baby and the murder of his grandmother in Beecher Town St Ann earlier this month.
Diana Pinnock from Epworth District in the parish has been charged with murder, burglary and abduction.
Assistant Superintendent Troyville Haugthon told reporters this morning that the woman was also involved in another case of abduction in St Mary months ago.
He said she is now before the court in relation to that matter.
The police have indicated that others will be charged in relation with the Beecher Town incident.
Meanwhile, Councillor for the Beecher Town Division Ian Bell has commended the police on the pace of investigations.
He has reiterated calls for murderers to face the death penalty for their crimes.
Sixty-three-year-old Nathlee Hamilton was stabbed to death at her home and the baby taken away on November 11.
The child was later located and placed in the care of the state.
