Tessanne bolts into The Voice top eight

A night after sprint legend Usain Bolt appeared on the American talent show The Voice to show support for Jamaican Tessane Chin came probably the most tense, nail-biting moment – the announcement of the top eight contestants.
With three contestants already announced, fans waited eagerly as host Carson Daly announced that the next person going through would be from team Adam.
They were left disappointed as Will Champlin's name was announced.
But the disappointment was short lived as Tessanne's name was announced shortly after.
Earlier in the night her coach Adam Levine states that his team, which consists of Chin, Will Champlin and James Wolpert, had given solid, incredible performances thus far.
"If I had to be critical I would say that they still have their best to show. Their best performances are yet to come."
Meanwhile after Tessane was announced as a safe contestant, Twitter fans were at it again.
"Yes, Tessanne is safe. I can breathe again" and "The Voice knows the franchise is much better off having Tessanne," were just some of the tweets which dominated social media.
After being saved, Tessanne performed a rendition of Lorde's Royals with contestant Caroline Pennell.
