Published:Wednesday | November 20, 2013 | 11:23 AM

The head of the Area One Police, Assistant Commissioner Warren Clarke, has ordered a probe into allegations of police misconduct during an incident in Hanover last Thursday.

Seventeen-year-old Ashanine Clarke was killed by the police in the incident.

However, protesting residents are insisting that the police acted unprofessionally and breached the Force’s Use of Force Policy.

ACP Clarke is appealing to witnesses to make a formal report to the Inspectorate of the Constabulary.

The Inspectorate is located at the 5th Floor on the South Tower at 2 Oxford Road, Kingston 5.

Persons may also contact the Inspectorate at 922-9058/4071.
