DSP charged with breaches of INDECOM Act to return to court January 2014
A deputy superintendent of police, charged with breaches of the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) Act is to return to court on January 28, 2014.
The date was set when DSP Albert Diah, was brought before the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Diah was charged on November 19, 2013 with failure to comply with a lawful requirement of the Commission; and obstructing the Commission in the exercise of functions under the INDECOM Act.
INDECOM says the charges arose from an investigation into a fatal shooting.
