The Trinidad and Tobago police have launched a massive manhunt for two gunmen who reportedly stole an estimated quarter-million dollars from an armoured vehicle, killing one of the employees in the process.

Police said that the van was hit from the back by a car and when the driver stopped to investigate the men armed with guns fired several shots, hitting one of the guards.

They say another guard escaped and the gunmen then robbed the van.
