Wolmer’s Boys have retained their Walker Cup Knockout title.

The Heroes Circle-based school defeated Excelsior High 4-2 on penalties at the Constant Spring field in the Championship match today.

The teams battled to a 1-1 draw following full and extra time.

It was the second time inside five days Wolmer’s were forced to play extra time in a final.

On Saturday, they lost 3-2 to Jamaica College in the Manning Cup final.

Coach Ludlow Bernard was happy that Wolmer’s long season came to an end with a trophy.

Despite defeat, Excelsior’s football coach Leabert Halliman thinks his team had an excellent game.
