A prosecution witness in the Cuban light bulb trial this morning detailed several items he said were seized from the New Kingston apartment shared by former junior minister Kern Spencer and his co-accused and former personal assistant Colleen Wright during a 2007 raid.

Cecil Harrison, an assistant forensic examiner with the Financial Investigation Division (FID), testified that the items included a folder marked Olint Corporation "starting September 17, 2007."

Harrison said police investigators who conducted the search also handed to him two sealed packs of blank National Commercial Bank cheques.

He said one pack of cheques was for Help Line Company while the other was for Butterfly Traders, two of the companies prosecution witness Rodney Chin testified were controlled by Spencer.
