The IAAF Doping Review Board has still not decided on whether or not it should reject or approve the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) Disciplinary Panel’s recommendation that Veronica Campbell-Brown should receive a public warning for a doping violation.

Campbell-Brown tested positive for a banned diuretic at the Jamaica International Invitational on May 4 and received a public warning from the panel on October 2.

The panel’s decision is, however, dependent on the IAAF’s ratification, which was expected to have arrived within 45 days, as stated by international anti-doping regulation.

The Gleaner understands that no decision was taken at the last meeting of the IAAF Doping Review Board, which took place just before the IAAF Gala and Awards in Monaco on November 16.

Campbell-Brown has won 16 medals at the Olympic and World Championships level.
