The man who was listed as a Person of Interest following the seizure of a large cache of ammunition and machines used to manufacture and reload rounds has turned himself in to the police.

He is Oniel Shrouder of a Manchester address.

The police say he was accompanied by his attorney when he went in for questioning.

He is to be questioned in relation to a find which was made at the Kingston Wharves on November 28.

The police have reported that a team comprising the police and customs discovered 3,300 warheads and the machine in a barrel on the wharf.

They had also described the seizure as a major success for law enforcement and added that it is a massive dent in the illicit gun trade.

According to them the seizure of the ammunition making machine and the other items highlights the harsh challenges the police face.
