CRICKET: South Africa hit back against India

South Africa finished Day Two of the first Test against India in Johannesburg at 213 for six and are 67 runs behind.

The batsmen at the crease are Vernon Philander on 48 and Faf du Plessis on17.

Captain Graeme Smith hit 68, while Hashim Amla made 36.

Ishant Sharma ended the day as the most successful bowler for India with three for 64.

Earlier, India were bowled out for 280 after resuming overnight on 255 for five.

Vernon Philander rocked India as he finished with figures of four for 61 to help South Africa roar back.
