14-y-o on murder charge

A 14-year-old boy is facing a murder charge following the stabbing death of his teenage peer in Clarks Town, Trelawny.



The dead boy has been identified as Jevaughnie Gordon, 13, of Bottom Town, Clarks Town.



The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) says about 7:45 p.m. yesterday, an argument developed between the youth. During the altercation, a knife was drawn and Jevaughnie was stabbed in the chest.



He was taken to the Falmouth Hospital in the parish capital where he was pronounced dead.
