Police probing four murders in St Elizabeth

The St Elizabeth Police are now probing four murders in the parish in less than twelve hours.

Two of those killed are students.

One has been identified as 15-year-old Ashnell Coke of the Magotty High School.

The other is Desrick Williams also 15, from the Balaclava High School.

The bodies of the students were found shortly after midnight in Thornton district in North East St Elizabeth with chop wounds to the head.

The police say they now have a suspect in custody in relation to the murders.

Earlier residents of Chinel called the police after the burnt bodies of two men were found in a vehicle along the main road.

They have not yet been identified.

It is suspected that the men were shot sometime around 9 o’clock last night before the vehicle was set on fire.
