A number of roads will be closed in downtown Kingston today to facilitate the public concert this evening for Jamaican songbird Tessanne Chin.

The police say starting at mid-day, sections of Nethersole Place, Ocean Boulevard as well as Church and Port Royal streets will be closed to vehicular traffic.

As part of the planned traffic management for the concert, the police also announced that several facilities have been identified for use as car parks.

These include the Bank of Jamaica and the Bank of Nova Scotia as well as the Urban Development Corporation’s northern and southern car parks.

The concert, which is dubbed Tessanne’s Homecoming, comes weeks after she won the popular American singing competition “The Voice”.
