Former Resident Magistrate, Dionne Maylor Reid, is expected to go on trial on firearm-related charges in the Western Regional Gun Court this morning.

The former magistrate, who is now an attorney, is jointly charged with Toniann Turner, Kadesha Blair, and Radcliffe Campbell.

All four were arrested in September last year when a team from the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Task Force raided Maylor-Reid’s Savanna-la-Mar office.

The police say they found an illegal firearm at the office.

Investigators also said they seized items believed to be used in lottery scamming.

Maylor-Reid and her three co-accused are to go on trial in March for the lottery scam charges
