Former West Indies cricketers Jamaica Courtney Walsh and Rawl Lewis of the Windward Islands have been confirmed to participate in the inaugural Junior Murray/Made In Grenada Celebrity Cricket Match next month.

The game, scheduled for February 9 at the Progress Park in St Andrew, will form part of activities marking Grenada’s 40th anniversary of Independence.

They will join former Combined and Windward Islands spinner Thomas Kentish on the Junior Murray team, which will play against an Ex-National Eleven.

Other regional and international cricketing friends of Junior Murray are expected to confirm their participation as the count down to the game continues.

Murray, who played in 33 tests and 55 One-Day Internationals for the West Indies, turned 46 yesterday.
