Barbara Gayle, Justice Coordinator
Head of the Cybercrimes Unit at the Organised Crime Investigation Division, Inspector Warren Williams, testified at the Vybz Kartel murder trial this morning that he received cell site records with one place of interest being Havendale in St Andrew.
Prosecutors are alleging that Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams was taken to a house owned by the entertainer in Havendale, where he was beaten and killed over two missing guns on August 16, 2011.
The police inspector told the court that in October 2011, a request was made to him in relation to a murder investigation which took place in August of that year.
He said the murder had taken place in Kingston and St Andrew.
The policeman said in relation to that alleged murder, he requested a schedule from a previous witness, detective corporal Shawn Brown.
He said the schedule contained a list of approximately 10 numbers.
He said based on the schedule, the sites of interest were Meadobrook, Havendale, Andrew’s Memorial and Mannings Hill Road.
Cell site information indicate the general area where phone calls are initiated and received.
The policeman also said he did a drive through of the areas and prepared a compact disc complete with his initials W.A.W3.
The disc was tendered in evidence this morning.
Inspector Williams is now doing a PowerPoint presentation in relation to the cell site evidence.
Kartel whose real name is Adidja Palmer is jointly charged with Shawn 'Shawn Storm' Campbell, Kahira Jones, Shane Williams and Andre St John for Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams’ alleged murder.
