CRICKET: Under-19 squad now in Barbados for one-week camp

The West Indies’ Under-19 15-member squad selected for the World Cup in the United Arab Emirates next month has arrived in Barbados is scheduled to begin a one-week preparatory camp.



The camp will take place at the Sagicor High Performance Centre.



The team is led by Jamaican off-spinning allrounder Ramaal Lewis who will be assisted by wicketkeeper-batsman Nicolas Pooran.



There are four other Jamaicans named in the squad.



They are – Fabian Allen, Tristan Coleman, Brandon King and Marquino Mindley.



West Indies are placed in Group C at the Under-19 World Cup, alongside South Africa, Zimbabwe and Canada.



Their first game is on the opening day of the tournament, February 14, against South Africa in Dubai.
