Motorists are to pay eleven cents more for gas when they go to the pumps tomorrow.

The state owned oil refinery Petrojam has announced increases in the prices of some of its petroleum products.

The oil refinery says crude oil prices have continued to be high due to political tension in Pakistan and escalating violence in Nigeria.

Unleaded gasolene 87 will now sell for 60 dollars and 30 cents per litre while the price of unleaded 90 goes up to 61 dollars and 74 cents.

Automotive diesel oil will now sell for 62 dollars and five cents moving from 12 cents per litre.

The price of kerosene goes up by 9 cents per litre to sell for 62 dollars and 15 cents.

Meanwhile cooking gas will now sell for 38 dollars and 93 cents per litre following an increase of one dollar 67 cents.

Retailers will add their respective mark-ups to the announced prices.
