Clarendon's most wanted fugitive arrested

CLARENDON, Jamaica:

One of Clarendon’s most wanted fugitive, David Walker, has been apprehended.




The May Pen Police say Walker was spotted walking in the Bargain Village Plaza in the town centre yesterday and was accosted.



Walker, otherwise called Nash or Diamond of Banks is wanted for murder, illegal possession of weapons and other gun-related charges.



A police investigator emphasised that Walker was apprehended without a single shot being fired.



In recent weeks, persons said to be wanted by the police were allegedly killed in police confrontations to apprehend them.



Just over two weeks ago the police fatally shot cousins Gavin Mason otherwise called Cruise, and Tele Mason.



Cruise was said to be wanted for murder and other gun related charges while Mason was wanted in connected to a number of gun related changes.



And Martin Shand, who is wanted for murder and other gun related charges, was fatally shot by the police in an alleged shoot-out in New Longville at the start of the year.
