Deputy superintendent charged with INDECOM Act breaches for court today

Deputy superintendent of police, Albert Diah, who is charged with breaches of the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) Act is to return to the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court today.



Diah was charged on November 19, 2013 with failure to comply with a lawful requirement of the Commission; and obstructing the Commission in the exercise of functions under the INDECOM Act.



INDECOM says the charges arose from an investigation into a fatal shooting.
