TRELAWNY, Jamaica:

The Trelawny woman and her teenage daughter, who allegedly worked together to dispose of the teen’s newborn are booked to return before the Clark’s Town Resident Magistrate’s Court on February 26.

The 15-year-old defendant was remanded, while bail for her mother, Hyacinth Carnegie, was extended.

They appeared in court yesterday.

The court was informed that Carnegie’s psychological report was outstanding from the prosecution’s case-file.

The teenager had previously been offered $150,000 bail, but she had not been able to take it up as no suitable accommodations could be found for her, in accordance with her bail conditions.
