Winnie not in Mandela's will

The executors of Nelson Mandela’s will have revealed that the former South African President left an estate provisionally valued at 46 million rand or US$4.1 million.

Reports indicate that the Mandela family trust will receive $130,000 plus royalties.

Others to benefit include the governing African National Congress, personal staff and several schools.

The executors said Mandela's third wife, Graca Machel, was likely to waive her claims to the estate, although she is entitled to half of it.

Mandela's ex-wife, Winnie Mandela, was not mentioned in the will.

Mandela died in December at the age of 95.

The will was first written in 2004 and last amended in 2008.
