Jamaica’s cricketers will today know which team they will play in the semi-finals of the NAGICO Super50 tournament in Trinidad and Tobago.

That decision will be made following the last preliminary round match between Barbados and the Leeward Islands.

The game will be played at the Queen’s Park Oval, starting at 1:30 p.m.

Jamaica won Zone ‘A’ of the preliminary round on Saturday by beating Guyana by 10 runs.

By virtue of winning the zone, Jamaica will meet the second place team in Zone ‘B’.

The Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCC) are currently in second spot in Zone B but have finished their preliminary round fixture; while third place Barbados, a point behind, are in action today against bottom place the Leeward Islands.

Barbados and the CCC team are fighting for the last semi-final spot, but the Barbadians are firmly on course to qualify.

hosts T&T yesterday joined Jamaica and Guyana in the semifinals by crushing CCC by seven wickets at the Queen’s Park Oval.

T and T bowled out CCC for 98 in 44.2 overs and then replied with 100 for three to win with 202 balls remaining.

As a result of the victory T&T picked up a bonus point to climb atop the standings with 10 points.
