CRICKET: Jamaica, T&T face off today in Super50 semis

The 2014 NAGICO Super50 Regional tournament resumes today with Jamaica facing host nation Trinidad and Tobago in the opening semi-final.

The semi-final match is a day/night fixture and will be played at Queen’s Park Oval. The match is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. Jamaica time.

Jamaica enters the semi-final fixture as the only team with an unbeaten record.

They booked their place in the semis by topping Zone A of the preliminary round following victories over the Windward Islands, Ireland and Guyana.

Trinidad and Tobago booked their semi-final spot by finishing second in Zone B following an easy seven-wicket victory over Combined Campuses and Colleges on Sunday.

The second semi-final takes place tomorrow also at Queen’s Park Oval and features Guyana against Barbados.

The final is scheduled for Saturday.
