UPDATE: Mandeville teens accused of attempting to kill boy in cave remanded

MANCHESTER, Jamaica:

Eighteen-year-old Anthony Forbes and his co-accused, a 16-year-old boy, have been remanded in connection with the attempted murder of their friend, 17-year-old Rohan Cleary.




The accused teen boys appeared in the Mandeville Resident Magistrate's Court today.



They will return on Wednesday, March 12.



The teens were charged after Cleary was found in a cave 516 feet below the surface of the earth.



Cleary who had been stabbed, burned and left to die, was found three days after the attack.



The police reported that parts of his body had started to decompose and that he was severely dehydrated.



Cleary was then taken to the Mandeville hospital where he remains in stable condition.
