BUSINESS: Currency rates update February 20: $108.04 to US$1

The Jamaican dollar crossed the $108 mark in trading today, losing $0.06 against the United States dollar when compared with yesterday’s average selling rates.

The local currency is now trading at $108.04 to the United States dollar, one month after it crossed the $107 mark on January 21.

The average selling rate of the Canadian dollar today was $97.73 and the British Pound Sterling $180.03.
