One of the men who were arrested in the lottery scam probe involving popular entertainer Tommy Lee has been charged with murder, shooting with intent and illegal possession of firearm by the St James Police.

He has been identified as 20-year-old Oshane Rankin, of Darling Street in Westmoreland.

The police said Rankin has been charged with the shooting death of 27-year-old Ramar Cunningham and the injuring of another man during an incident in Lilliput, St James on October 1 last year.

He is scheduled to appear in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate Court on Monday.

‘Tommy Lee’, whose given name is Leroy Russell, and three others were formally charged last week for breaches of the Lottery Scam Act.

The charges stem from a traffic stop in New Kingston earlier this month.
