KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Defence attorney Michael Lorne is to continue his address to the jury this morning when the Vybz Kartel murder trial resumes in the Home Circuit Court.

Lorne, the attorney for co-accused, Shawn Campbell, more popularly known as 'Shawn Storm', began his address on Friday.

He told the jurors to reject the arguments by prosecutor Jeremy Taylor that Shawn Storm had betrayed the deceased Clive 'Lizard' Williams.

Shawn Storm is alleged to have transported 'Lizard' and the prosecution's main witness to Kartel's Havendale house.

It is alleged that while the main witness escaped, 'Lizard' was killed in relation to two missing guns.

The prosecution has said although 'Shawn Storm' was not at the house at the time of the murder, he was aware of the plot to kill the men.

According to the prosecution, 'Shawn Storm' was part of a common design to kill 'Lizard'.

The presiding judge, Lennox Campbell has told jurors that they could be asked this week to deliberate on the matter to reach a verdict.
