ST THOMAS, Jamaica:

Thirty-six-year-old pastor Daniel Findlay, of Lower York in St Thomas, was remanded in custody when he appeared in the Morant Bay RM Court today.

Judge Jennes Anderson deemed Findlay a flight risk and booked him to return to court on Thursday; allowing her time to examine the case file.

Pastor Findlay has been charged with three counts of sexual assault and one count of grievous sexual assault in relation to a 16 year old girl.

The Morant Bay Police had listed the pastor as a wanted man last Wednesday asking him to turn himself in.

On Saturday he was picked up in Kingston after making arrangements with the St Thomas Police.
