FOOTBALL: Humble Lion snatch late 1-1 draw against Cavalier in Monday Night fixture

Substitute Nerado Brown scored on the stroke of full time as home team Humble Lion snatched a 1-1 draw against Cavalier in their Red Stripe Premier League Monday Night fixture.

The game was played at the Effortville Community Centre in Clarendon.

Claudius Blackburn had given Cavalier the lead in the 18th minute, but the visitors were denied the victory in the closing stages of the match.

With the point gained, Cavalier moved from seventh to sixth place in the 12-team table with 29 points.

Humble Lion moved to 26 points, one behind seventh place Sporting Central Academy.

Clarendon-based Sporting Central will be in action tomorrow against 10th place Portmore United at Bramwell Clarke Sports Complex.
