The more than 90 students of Liberty Hill Primary School in St Ann are to be registered at a new school today after fire destroyed the institution yesterday.

The ministry says the students are to be relocated to Discovery Bay All-Age School.

It is urging the parents and guardians of the dislocated students to ensure they are registered at the new school today.

The students will begin attending classes at Discovery Bay All-Age next Monday.

The education ministry says it regrets the inconvenience caused to students, parents and teachers arising from the unfortunate incident.

It is reported that shortly after 2 o'clock yesterday morning, fire was seen coming from the school and the police and fire department were alerted.

However, the school was destroyed.
