One dead, four injured in Trelawny traffic crash

The driver of a motor car was killed this afternoon when his vehicle, with three other people aboard, collided with a truck along the Braco Main Road in Trelawny.




The incident happened around 3.30 p.m affecting traffic flow.



Up to a short while ago, the body of the driver was lying in the road, covered.



His three passengers as well as the sideman on truck have been taken to hospital for treatment.



The truck driver appeared unhurt.



The truck has been registered to Surrey Paving and Aggregate.



It is reported that the truck was heading towards Falmouth and the car travelling in the opposite direction when they collided.



The police have listed the section of Braco where the accident occurred as a 'black spot' because crashes frequently occur there.
