ATHLETICS: Carter, Roach miss out on medals at World Indoors

Although making it to the final of the Men's 60m race on day two of the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Sopot, Poland, Nesta Carter and Kimmari Roach failed to medal in the event.



Carter who ran a season best of 6.50 to take first place in his semi-final heat earlier, clocked 6.57 to take seventh place in the final.



Roach clocked 6.58 taking eighth place.



Earlier, Roach ran a season best of 6.55 to take second place in his semi-final heat.



Jamaica ended day two of the championships with two medals; a silver for Kaliese Spencer in Women's 400m and bronze for Kimberly Williams in Women's triple jump.
