Mystery surrounds missing China-bound Malaysian jet

The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has deepened.

The plane disappeared from flight radar on Friday night.

Search crews from Vietnam, Malaysia, China, and Singapore have joined in combing the seas for clues.

Earlier there were reports of an oil slick, but that has not yet been concluded.

Vietnam's navy has also reported spotting a floating object about 80 kilometers or 50 miles southwest of Vietnam's Tho Chu Island.

The object was spotted last evening but because of the dark, navy personnel could not get close enough to identify the floating object and were recalled to base.

Airline experts are now questioning whether the plane could have disintegrated mid flight at 35 thousand feet above sea level.
