Three Die in Clarendon Crash

Three men are now dead as a result of injuries they sustained in a motor vehicle crash along Highway 2000 Tuesday evening.

The police say the crash took place about 7:55 p.m. in an area known as Rasta Corner.

One of the dead men has been identified as 23-year-old John Lawrence of Hopeton district in Manchester.

He was reportedly the driver.

The police said the others remain unidentified.

They have also not ascertained the cause of the crash.

It is reported that a Toyota Hiace mini bus was on its way to Mandeville from Kingston when it crashed into a section of the rail along Highway 2000.

Twelve persons were taken to hospital for treatment.
